About Wesley House

Wesley House at Ferris State University is a vibrant, messy, and deeply loving community of college students and young adults in Big Rapids, Michigan. Whether you're enrolled in classes, taking a break, or still figuring things out—we’re a space where you can show up as your full, authentic self.
We’re here for the questions, not the easy answers.
At Wesley, we believe faith is a journey, not a checklist. We won’t tell you what you have to believe. Instead, we create space to explore, to wonder, to wrestle with big questions, and to grow into the person God created you to be.
We gather around dinner tables, on cozy couches for worship, and in our wider community to serve. We swap stories over Free Lunch Tuesdays. We get rowdy at goofball events like trivia nights, D&D, and Mystery Dinner. We find sacred moments in small groups and deep conversations. We’re casual, creative, and committed—to one another, to justice, and to the messy, beautiful work of loving this world like Jesus did.
We are a ministry of the United Methodist Church and proudly inclusive. You don’t have to be Methodist—or even Christian—to belong here. No matter your identity, orientation, background, or doubts, you are welcome. You are beloved.
Come eat, question, worship, grow, laugh, cry, show up late, bring your weirdness, your passion, your exhaustion, your hope. There’s a place for you here.
