The Wesley Foundation at Ferris State University is seeking a full-time Director to provide visionary, pastoral, and organizational leadership for our progressive, inclusive, and affirming United Methodist campus ministry in Big Rapids, Michigan.

​

Rooted in the radical love of Christ and the Wesleyan tradition, the Wesley Foundation welcomes students of all faith traditions and no faith tradition. We are looking for a creative and relational leader who can:

• Build authentic relationships with college students
• Cultivate spiritual community and develop student leaders
• Offer pastoral care, mentoring, and referral support
• Advance LGBTQIA+ affirmation, racial equity, disability inclusion, and justice
• Strengthen relationships with churches, alumni, donors, and community partners
• Lead fundraising, administration, and organizational sustainability

Relevant preparation may come through ministry, counseling, social work, nonprofit leadership, higher education, community organizing, student development, or related education and experience. We recognize that excellent candidates may not meet every qualification and strongly encourage those with transferable skills and a commitment to inclusive Christian ministry to apply.

Salary: $40,000–$50,000, commensurate with experience
Benefits include: Optional employer-provided housing with utilities, insurance coverage, retirement contribution, four weeks of vacation, paid sick and parental leave, professional reimbursement, and continuing education support.

This is a primarily in-person, community-facing position based in Big Rapids, with regional travel and limited remote flexibility.
